World Women Boxing, Mary Kom Win Title: एमसी मैरीकॉम छठवीं बार विश्व चैंपियन बन गई हैं. मैरीकॉम ने 48 किलोग्राम के लाइट फ्लाइवेट कैटेगिरी में यूक्रेन की हेना ओखोटा को मात दी. मैरीकॉम की इस जीत पर प्रधानमंत्री मोदी, बॉलीवुड हस्यिां औऱ क्रिकेटर्स उन्हें बधाई दे रहे हैं.
नई दिल्ली: भारत की राजधानी नई दिल्ली में आयोजित 10वीं विश्व महिला बॉक्सिंग चैंपियनशिप में भारत की स्टार महिला मुक्केबाज एमसी मैरीकॉम ने युक्रेन की हना ओखोटा को शिकस्त देकर छठवीं बार विश्वचैंपियन का खिताब अपने नाम किया. शनिवार को खेले गए मुकाबले में मैरीकॉम ने युक्रेनी खिलाड़ी को कड़े मुकाबले में हराया. मैरीकॉम ने इससे पहले साल 2002, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2010 में विश्वचैंपियनशिप का खिताब अपने नाम किया था.
मैरीकॉम की जीत के बाद उन्हें सोशल मीडिया के जरिए बधाई देने वालों का तांता लग गया है. महिला बॉक्सिंग चैंपियनशिप में जीत हासिल करने पर मैरीकॉम को राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद ने बधाई दी.
प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने ट्वीट कर मैरीकॉम को उनकी जीत पर बधाई दी. औऱ इसे भारतीय खेल के लिए एक गर्वपूर्ण क्षण बताया. उन्होंने ट्वीट कर लिखा महिला विश्व मुक्केबाजी चैम्पियनशिप में स्वर्ण जीतने के लिए मैरीकॉम को बधाई.
